*Special Note: Fred Beekman park will close November 25, 2009 and re-open March 29, 2010. Supervision, lights, grass fields, softball diamonds, and restrooms will not be available.
This 43-acre park has fields for baseball, softball, flag football, rugby, soccer, and ultimate disc. The park also offers two basketball courts, eight softball diamonds, four sand volleyball courts, two picnic shelters, restrooms, three lakes, and a 1.01-mile jogging path. The park is lighted during the evening.
Lincoln Tower Park
South of Ohio Stadium, next to the RPAC and Lincoln Tower, artificial turf field space is available for soccer, flag football, rugby, ultimate disc, field hockey, lacrosse, and other field sports. Three grass fields are also available for field sports. Lights are available during program activity times. Fifteen outdoor tennis courts and two batter courts with lights are also available from dusk until 2 a.m.

West Campus Disc Golf Course

Fees/Equipment
There are no fees to play the course or check out available discs. Equipment and scorecards are available for check out at the following Recreational Sports facilities: Jesse Owens West Tennis Center (JOWTC), Fred Beekman Park, Adventure Recreation Center (ARC), and the RPAC.

West Campus Skate Park

The skate park is located south of the corner of Carmack Road and Kenny Road.
Driving Directions
The West Campus Skate Park boasts an estimated 9,000 square feet of space including: picnic table, 2 ft. bank ramp, 4 ft. mini-ramp with 6 ft. extension and wall-ride, 6 ft. quarter pipe and two 4 ft. quarter pipes. There are also various practice rails and an 18 in. high street ledge. All ages, all experience levels and all action sports are welcome to use this facility. The current location is a temporary skate park with plans for revitalization and expansion in the future including various grind rails, launches, quarter pipes, spine, banks, elbows, hips and a larger grind box.
- Ohio State's West Campus Skate Park is open to the public.
- No BUCK ID required accessing West Campus Skate Park.
- The use of protective equipment is recommended and along with proper instruction can reduce the risk of injury and/or death.
- Suggested protective equipment: helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, hip/butt pads, wrist guards, and shin guards.
- Ride / Skate within your own ability.
- Ride / Skate at your own risk.
- Respect other participants.
- Be aware of your surroundings and other participants.
- Pick up trash and throw away in provided trash cans.
- No glass containers or alcoholic beverages.
- The use of drugs or any illegal substance is strictly prohibited.
- Please report equipment damage or unsafe conditions to Recreational Sports at 614-247-8686.
Skate Park Parking:
Ohio State parking rules and regulations are enforced. Metered parking and Pay -n- Display is available adjacent to Jesse Owens West Tennis Center (JOWTC). Passes can be purchased in one-hour blocks. Special parking rules are applied during major event weekends including home football games. Please click the following link for Rec Sports Parking Information for more parking information.
Skate Park Amenities:
Restrooms are located inside JOWTC at the north wall and a drinking fountain is located on the outside north wall of JOWTC near the tall pine trees. Restrooms are available only when JOWTC is open. The current JOWTC hours are listed at the top right of our Home Page.

Coffey Road Park
Corner of Coffey Road and Woody Hayes Drive
Coffey Road Park holds space for flag football and ultimate disc. There are also four softball diamonds. The park is lighted for scheduled evening events.
Jesse Owens West Park
Corner of Kenny Road and Carmack Road
This park has field space, a cricket pitch, and three basketball courts. The area does not have lights.

Cannon Drive Courts (On Cannon Drive, across from Lincoln Tower)
Two basketball courts available, which are illuminated at night.
South Campus Courts (Next to Jesse Owens South on 11th Ave.)
Three basketball courts available with lights until midnight.
North Campus Courts (Near Woodruff Ave. and Curl Drive)
One-and-a-half basketball courts are available with lights during the evening until 2 a.m.
Lane Avenue Courts (Next to Taylor Tower)
Two basketball courts are available with lights during the evening until 2 a.m.

Roller Hockey Rinks

One roller hockey rink with lights available during the evening until midnight.

Running Trails
There are six different jogging trails around campus ranging from just under one mile up to 4.6 miles. For maps of these jogging loops, please view the Open Recreation page.
