Officials Registration
There are limited positions available on the 2008 officiating crew. If you have officials who are interested, please have them complete and submit the Officials Interest Form, which can be found on this page. The tournament will take place November 7-9, 2008 on the campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
Highlights
Four (4) Officials will receive bids to the NIRSA National Flag Football Championship hosted by the University of South Florida. With their bid package, they will receive paid registration for the tournament, as well as a stipend, and a recognition plaque.
General Information
- All games will be played according to the NIRSA Flag Football Rules.
- The tournament will use 4- person mechanics.
- There will be a tournament workshop that will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 7. A meal will be provided.
- Breakfasts and lunches will be provided during the tournament.
- Officials will be presented with written evaluations and observer critiques during the tournament.
- Guaranteed interesting weather and lots of football.
What to Bring?
- Long and Short-sleeved official’s stripes
- Whistle with Lanyard (at least one)
- Black Pants
- Black Shoes (cleats are strongly recommended)
- Down Indicator
- Bean Bag
- Clothes for cold and/or wet weather
