When: Wednesdays from 3-5 p.m.
Fee: $15 (includes belay test)
Bike Maintenance Clinic
Learn some of the basics of bike maintenance. This introduction will provide a foundation for understanding how your bike works, what you look over before you ride, and how to fix a few things that could go wrong. Bring your own bike and be ready to follow along as our instructor demonstrates.
Session I: October 10 at 7 p.m.

Mountain Bike Clinic
This four-hour class is designed to teach the beginning mountain biker the basics of mountain biking. The first class begins with lectures on bike safety, equipment, emergency trail repairs (flat tires, broken chains), and trail riding etiquette. During the second class we will practice bike-handling skills, braking, shifting, turning, and riding over small obstacles, all under the watchful eye of an experienced instructor. Then we’ll hit the trail to test our skills.
Session I: October 16-17 from 5-7 p.m.
Session II: April 30 - May 1 from 5-7 p.m.

Backpacking Clinic
Starting any new sport can be intimidating, especially when it involves finding routes, unpredictable weather, and sleeping outdoors in bear country! But have no fear, there are answers to your how-to questions. Come learn about important gear, backcountry safety, trip planning, and travel techniques, guaranteed to make your first few trips a success.

Dutch Oven Cooking Clinic
Whether you are preparing a meal in your own kitchen or on a backcountry trip, knowing Dutch Oven cooking will definitely enhance the meal and the experience. In this class we will demonstrate how to prepare a three course dinner, which you will get to enjoy.
