Creating the Extraordinary Student Experience

Apply for Emerging Leaders Institute Autumn 2018

The Emerging Leaders Institute (ELI) is a ten-week leadership program offered by Student Life Recreational Sports. The program is designed to promote self-discovery and explore social justice by discussing controversial topics and engaging in activities with an open mind. Fellows will gain refined leadership skills, confidence in difficult conversations and an improved holistic view of the world.

Every semester, up to 20 individuals are selected to be a member of the Fellows Cohort. To gain a better understanding, please see the testimonial below.

“ELI was a transformational experience through which I saw myself grow as a leader. ELI creates an environment conducive to both individual and group development through discussion, application, and reflect. ELI started my journey to becoming a compassionate, open-minded, and purposeful leader in every aspect of my life. Best of all, I met some amazing people along with way.” – Mike Jones, student participant
