Faculty and Staff Free Week

Join us for Faculty and Staff Free Week from November 27 – December 3!

Registration for Free Week is NOW OPEN online or in-person at the RPAC Welcome Center.

Free Week is an opportunity for all Ohio State faculty and staff to visit any of our indoor recreation facilities and outdoor parks during regular operating hours. Our indoor facilities include the RPAC, Jesse Owens South, Jesse Owens North, North Rec Center and the Adventure Recreation Center. The RPAC includes the RPAC Aquatic Center, which features open lap swimming and a leisure pool for when you want to bring your family during our Family Hours, as well as our spa and saunas. Check out our website for facility descriptions and hours of each location. 

Free Group Fitness Classes 

Feeling stressed out? Stretch your body and calm your mind with yoga! Want to strengthen your core? We recommend Pilates or barre! Or if cycling is more your thing, give one of our cycle fusion classes a try. Group Fitness classes are open to all levels, no fitness experience needed. See the schedule here.

Family Hours

Recreational Sports strives to provide a family friendly environment. Free Week participants can bring immediate family members (spouse/partner and children under 18) who have been declared in their registration for no additional charge during family hours (limited to one spouse/partner and dependents). You can find family hour details here.

How-To Sign-Up for Faculty and Staff Free Week 

1. Visit recregister.osu.edu and sign in using your university name.# 
2. Click Memberships 
3. Click Fac/Staff Free Week and add to your cart 
4. Sign Membership Waiver 
5. Hit Checkout at the bottom of the sales screen 
6. When "Choose Payment Option" appears, select checkout 
7. Process complete!
