Student Life Recreational Sports considers graduate assistants a key part of our team. We are proud to employ a number of graduate students each year. Currently, the application window for graduate assistantship positions is closed, but we anticipate several positions becoming available for the 2022-2023 school year. That application window is expected to open in October 2021 and close November 30, 2021. Anticipated positions are listed below. To be considered for an assistantship, candidates must apply and be accepted to the Graduate School and the Master of Science in Kinesiology, Sport Management or Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs programs. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required for admission into graduate school at The Ohio State University.
Stipend and Benefits
GAAs are appointed to 9-month terms and receive approximately $2,364 in monthly compensation. Also included are full tuition reimbursement (including out of state and international). Summer employment may be available but is not guaranteed.
