Intramurals and Sport Clubs
Student employees officiate and manage the variety of intramural sports that are offered on a seasonal basis. Intramural Officials and Scorekeepers are always needed to provide a fair, safe and fun environment for all sport participants. Bonus: You get paid to watch sports!
Primary Location: Varies by sport including RPAC, ARC, Fred Beekman Park, Coffey Road Park and the Lincoln Tower Turf Fields.
Typical Available Hours: Weekday and weekend evening and nights
Required Certifications: All rules and sport officiating knowledge will be taught upon onboarding
Intramural Sports Official - Officials work to provide a fair, safe and fun environment for all participants by enforcing rules of the sport. No experience necessary. Uniform and whistle provided upon hire. Successful candidates for this position will learn, implement and enforce the rules of the selected sport, while also utilizing appropriate mechanics and positioning. Fill out this interest form now!
Scorekeeper - Provides intramural participants with an efficient check-in process, a diligent record of the score and an accurate knowledge and application of game clock mechanics, if applicable. No experience necessary. Scorekeepers will learn the rules of specific sports and enforce the policies and procedures of the department. Fill out this interest form now!
Competitive Sports Supervisor – Oversees nightly facilitation of and operations for Intramural Sports Leagues as well as Sport Club Events to enhance and promote a positive participant and staff experience. Supervisors serve as first-responders during risk and conflict management situations. CPR & First-Aid certifications provided (at no cost) upon hire. Apply here!
