Intramural ice hockey is played with six (6) players on the ice and requires a minimum of five (5) players to begin a game. All games will be played at the Ohio State Ice Rink. There are three levels of competition for participants to choose from: beginner, intermediate and advanced. The competitive sports staff reserves the right to move players from any level of competition to another based on their ability. Helmets, gloves, jerseys and shin guards are mandatory and are provided by Recreational Sports. Participants may also choose to provide their own equipment. Players will need to provide their own hockey stick.
Each participant will be able to join the team during registration. All members of a roster will be required to pass a quiz prior to participation. Team members must join the roster prior to their first game of any regular season contest. If a team member does not appear on the roster, they will be unable to compete in the contest. All rosters will be locked following the final regular season game and teams will be unable to add players.
