Slow Pitch Softball Tournament (NEW)

Intramural slow pitch softball is played with 10 players on the field and requires a minimum of eight (8) players to begin a game. Games are scheduled to be played at Fred Beekman Park (FBP) on Friday - Sunday, April 5 – 7, depending on the amount of teams that register. Games are played to seven (7) innings or no new innings after 50 minutes. Gloves and bats can be checked out at the Fred Beekman Park Sand Volleyball shelter, but quantities are limited.

Tournament Dates:

April 5 - 7

Starting on December 31, teams will be able to register for the two open formatted Slow Pitch Softball Tournament divisions, competitive or recreational. The captain of each team must pass the online captain's quiz via prior to completing the team creation. The quiz will cover responsibilities of the captain, as well as rules for the sport. Teams will be required to pay to register in a division of the tournament. Pre-registering for the tournament does not guarantee any team a spot in the slow pitch softball tournament. It is designed to speed up the process during registration. When registration officially opens on March 4 at 9 a.m., each team in pre-registration must go onto IMLeagues and move their team into the division of their choice.

Online registration begins on March 4 at 9 a.m. until April 1 at 11:59 p.m.

Once a team is created, the captain will be able to invite people to join the team at any time during pre-registration or registration. All members of a roster will be required to pass an online quiz via prior to participating. Team members must join the roster prior participating in their team’s last game of pool play (if applicable) OR first game of bracket play. If a team member does not appear on the roster, they will be unable to compete in the contest.
