World Cup Soccer (11V11)

About Intramural World Cup Soccer: 
  • Multiple day team tournament that uses pool play and/or a bracket to determine a champion
  • All games are played on the turf fields of Lincoln Tower Park (LTP)
  • Game equipment and player jerseys are provided by the Department of Recreational Sports
  • Soccer balls are available for check out the Women’s Field House at LTP, but quantities are limited
  • Teams are encouraged to bring their own soccer balls to use for warming up 
Tournament dates:

April 3 - April 5 

Online Pre-Registration:
  • Beginning on December 30, teams are able to pre-register for spring intramural sports via IMLeagues
  • Payment are not required during the pre-registration process
  • Pre-registering does not guarantee anyone or any team a spot in the intramural sports season
  • Online pre-registration is designed to speed up your registration process during the registration window
  • IMPORTANT: Each team captain must go onto IMLeagues and move their team into the division after pre-registering and once the registration window opens
Online Registration: 
  • Begins on March 15 at 9 a.m. via IMLeagues.com
  • Ends on March 25 at 11:59 p.m.
  • A maximum of 16 teams can play in the Intramural World Cup Soccer Tournament
  • Team captains are required to complete and submit a captains quiz via IMLeagues prior to completing the registration process
  • Captain responsibilities and sport rules are covered in the quiz

Roster:
  • Once a team is created on IMLeagues, captains are able to invite people to join the team (during pre-registration or after registration)
  • All members of a roster are required to pass a participants quiz via IMLeagues prior to participating

$65 per team
