Outdoor Soccer

Intramural outdoor soccer is played with seven players on the field and requires a minimum of five players to begin a game. Games will be played at Jesse Owens West Park (JOWP) Sunday through Thursday evenings during autumn semester. The duration of the game shall be two equal halves of 18 minutes.

Pre-Registration:

Starting on May 7 at 10 a.m., teams will be able to pre-register for autumn semester. The captain must pass the online captain's quiz prior to completing the team creation. The quiz will cover responsibilities of the captain, as well as rules for the sport. Teams will not be required to pay until the team is moved into a division during registration. Pre-registering does not guarantee any team a spot in the intramural sports season. It is designed to speed up the process during registration. When registration officially opens on May 14 at 10 a.m., each team must go onto IMLeagues and move their team into the division of their choice.

Roster:

Once a team is created, the captain will be able to invite people to join the team (during pre-registration or after registration). All members of a roster will be required to pass a quiz prior to participation. Team members must join the roster prior to their first game of any regular season contest. If a team member does not appear on the roster, they will be unable to compete in the contest. All rosters will be locked following the final regular season game and teams will be unable to add players.
