Job Responsibilities: Develop and administer ground-based leadership initiatives for student organizations; manage the OAC campus outreach and marketing program; collaborate with academic units, residence halls, international affairs, Greek organizations, and others to develop leadership programs and trips; recruit, train, and supervise facilitators and instructors; host training sessions to teach outdoor skills and facilitate positive group interaction; develop programs linked to campus focus on men's initiatives; develop and administer international servant leadership trips; teach leadership classes linked to outdoor leadership principles with other Rec Sports colleagues; assist in the administration and development of outdoor adventure activities ranging from half-day to week-long trips; mentor trip leaders along with other Rec Sports colleagues; and collect data through benchmarking and assessments to keep outdoor leadership programs on the cutting-edge.
