Intramural Sports Ways to Play - NEW

Find all rules, schedules, team rosters, and results on IMLeagues. Once you’ve purchased your pass, you can browse our offerings and add yourself to an existing team or start your own!  Sports vary by semester and may not be offered every year.  

New for 2023

  • New this year, we are offering drop-in play! Want to try a new intramural sport but not sure where to start? Want to meet new people and have some fun? Not ready to make a season commitment? Drop-in play is for you! We provide the field space, equipment, officials and instructions – you just have to show up!  
  • Drop-in play is available throughout the semester on a weekly basis. You don’t need to sign up ahead of time, but you will need a Play Pass. You can use a semester Play Pass or a Daily Pass – if you don’t have a pass, you can purchase one when you arrive.  

Create Your Account in IMLeagues 

  1. Go to https://recregister.osu.edu/ and click on Intramural Sports 
  2. Sign in with your OSU Name.# or Rec Sports Membership credentials. 
  3. For those who don’t have a local account, click Sign up, then enter your information.  NOTE: You must enter a Member ID Number (this is the ID number located on your membership card used to swipe into the Recreational Sports Facilities) 
  4. Click the orange IMLeagues banner to access the site. 

As a Team 

  • Multi-Week Leagues 
  • Single-Day Tournaments

To Register/Create a Team 

  1. Log in to your IMLeagues.com account 
  2. Click on The Ohio State University link to go to your school’s homepage on IMLeagues. 
  3. The current sports will be displayed; click on the league/division you wish to play. 
  4. Click the green register/signup button to create a team. Follow instructions from there. 
  5. Once you create your team, invite members to join by clicking the invite member’s link on the team page. Any invited member must accept the invitation to be joined to your team. 

Join Team 

  • Option One: Accept an invitation from a captain. 
  • Option Two: Find the team and captain name on division/league page and request to join. 

As an Individual  

  • Drop-In Activities 
  • Instructional Clinics 
  • As a Free Agent

As an Individual 

  1. Log in to your IMLeagues.com account 
  2. Click on The Ohio State University link to go to your school’s homepage on IMLeagues. 
  3. The current sports will be displayed; click on the sport you wish to play. 
  4. Click the green register/signup button to register. Follow instructions from there.
