Learn all of the skills taught in the OAC's Advanced Climbing Skills Series, including sport anchors, route cleaning, and belay takeover and rescue. Top rope belay clinic or accelerated workshop experience recommended. This workshop will be accelerated in comparison to the clinics in this series, as this workshop will cover all the material in one day. Cost is $25, and the clinic will be held on Saturday, February 11, from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. Sign-up online!
Do you have what it takes to complete a 17-minute run, 17-minute bike ride, and a seven-minute swim? Compete in the Friendship 7 Indoor Triathlon on Sunday, February 19, at 7 a.m. in the RPAC, honoring the 50th anniversary of John Glenn's orbit around the earth in the Friendship 7 Capsule. The $7 entry fee benefits the John Glenn Scholarship Fund, and participants who complete the challenge receive a T-shirt. Register at the RPAC Welcome Center. Learn more.
Enjoy a spectacular rock climbing experience, and explore scenery from the ground and the top of cliffs at Joshua Tree, California with the Outdoor Adventure Center, March 17 - 25.
