Fred Beekman Endowment
Assist in supporting the world-class outdoor facilities at Fred Beekman Park by giving to this endowment. Fred Beekman, former director, believed in the value of world-class facilities, and the endowment bearing his name provides money to keep this facility state-of-the-art.
Dave Griner Leadership Award
A donation to this fund provides scholarships to undergraduate Recreational Sports employees in recognition of academic achievement and their leadership in facility operations, aquatic operations or program operations. Dave Griner was a colleague of the department until his tragic death at age 55. This award keeps his name alive by honoring students who exhibit the qualities he helped develop when he served the university.
Mary A. Daniels Scholarship
Contributing to this scholarship provides financial support to undergraduate, graduate and professional students who exhibit academic accomplishment and a commitment to campus leadership. Dr. Mary Daniels' service to the university ranged from professor to assistant vice president, and she remains committed to advancing student causes through her philanthropic endeavors.
Graduate Administrative Associate Campaign
In honor of the hundreds of graduate administrative associates who have served the department, this campaign is designed to raise funds to name the conference room in the RPAC and the jogging path at Fred Beekman Park as permanent reminders of their contributions.
Recreational Sports Facilities Fund
With the construction of RPAC and the ARC in 2005, the Ohio State community was treated to the country's finest recreational facilities. In an effort to maintain the quality of these new facilities, this fund was established to assist in supporting ancillary projects designed to preserve the excellence of the department.
