Let us host your next event!

Recreational Sports facilities offer an ideal and extremely flexible setting for many kinds of events: athletic competitions, recreational sporting events, meetings, lectures and social gatherings.

Recreation and Physical Activity Center (RPAC)

Located in the heart of central campus, just south of Ohio Stadium, the state-of-the-art RPAC was built to host sporting events of every size from one-day tournaments to large scale competitions. We have the space to meet your needs, including the Tom W. Davis Special Events Gymnasium, racquetball and squash courts, multi-purpose rooms, a recreation natatorium and the Bill and Mae McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion, home to our competition pool and diving well. The RPAC also makes the perfect location for hosting your group's next meeting. Our meeting space can hold groups of up to 108 people banquet style and 170 people theatre style. Smaller groups are also welcome as our meeting rooms will accommodate up to 50 guests depending on the configuration. Our event staff will work with you to set up our spaces to meet your audio/visual, multimedia and sound needs.

The RPAC is not a banquet facility and is not equipped with all the amenities of such a space. We do frequently work and coordinate with University Catering and outside vendors to fulfill your event needs.

The RPAC Aquatic Center is home to the Bill and Mae McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion and the Recreation Natatorium. The McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion was built to host large scale aquatic competitions. The facility features a 50-meter competitive pool, diving well with platform and springboard diving, seating for 1,400 and locker and training rooms. The Recreation Natatorium features a class pool with a moveable floor, lap swimming pool, leisure pool and whirlpool spa. Let our event staff help you plan your next aquatic event.

A small conference room is available for group meetings at the OAC, seating up to 15 guests. Let us combine your next meeting with a little team building or a campus adventure!
