The Road to Game Day
Friday, September 30: noon-3:45 p.m. (RPAC NW Plaza)
The Buckeye Football season is well under way and this Saturday, October 1 is Homecoming! Rec Sports Group Fitness is calling for all Buckeyes to join us in collectively riding 1,500 miles in one day, doubling our goal from last year! This outdoor cycle event will be done in several waves taught by Rec Sports’ excellent cycle instructors:
- Noon-12:45 p.m. with Becca K.
- 1-1:45 p.m. with Mara S. and Lily E.
- 2-2:45 p.m. with Alexis B. and Colin W.
- 3-3:45 p.m. with Marie D. and Grace H.
Check-in begins 15-min before scheduled class time. Participants will receive Rec Sports SWAG. Sign up now to help us reach our goal! All fitness levels welcome.
Couch to 5K
Learn how to properly progress your running and cardio planning for a 5K race. This 5-week program will teach participants proper running form, recovery techniques, strength training for running and how to progress your running regimen leading up to a 5K race. This program can be catered to beginners or experienced runners looking to improve their running ability. The course will be completed in a small group setting and led by Certified Personal Trainers. There are two sections for this offering. Both sections are the same and meet once a week. Location for this program is the RPAC Fitness Suite.
- Monday 8-9 a.m., October 17 – November 18
- Monday 12:30-1:30 p.m., October 17 – November 18
- Tuesday 6-7 p.m., October 17 – November 18
- Thursday 10-11 a.m., October 17 – November 18
Registration for this course is $20 per person and will open here on September 19 at noon. Please only register for one section. There is a minimum of 5 registrants and space is limited to 12 people per section.
