Program Details

Pose Lab

Sunday, February 15  |  10:30 a.m. - Noon  |  NRC 210/220

Refine standing and balancing poses in this focused Pose Lab session. This workshop explores Dancer, Half Moon, Eagle, Chair and Goddess with attention to alignment, safe setup and progressions. Participants will build stability and strength while learning modifications to support their individual practice.

Understanding Inversions

Sunday, February 22  |  10:30 a.m. - Noon  |  NRC 210/220

Learn the foundational skills needed to safely approach inversions. This workshop emphasizes alignment, core engagement and upper-body strength through progressive preparation and guided instruction. Participants of all levels will explore techniques to build confidence and control upside down.

Love Your Body Week

Love Your Body Week is a university-wide collaboration promoting body acceptance and positivity. Events throughout the week focus on education, celebration and creating a supportive campus environment for all body types and experiences. Group Fitness will support the week with themed classes and giveaways.

Yoga for Mental Health

Join Counseling and Consultation Services and Group Fitness for a gentle, grounding yoga class in honor of Women’s Mental Health Month. This class is designed to support emotional well-being, stress relief and nervous system regulation through mindful movement, breathwork and rest.

Program Details

This class is open and welcoming to all bodies, identities and experience levels. Participants can expect a supportive, low-pressure environment focused on gentle movement and rest.

This class is offered on one date only:

The Group Fitness Game

This spring, level up your workouts with a board game-style adventure! The Group Fitness Game transforms every class into a move closer to prizes and progress across Group Fitness Land. Advance through campus landmarks like the Shoe and the Oval, and work your way to the Ohio Union by attending classes, unlocking milestones and earning rewards throughout the semester.
