Try something new and join us for these special event classes, workshops and incentive programs. 

Spring 2024       

Buckeye BarBELLES

This 8-week program focuses on the fundamentals of strength training for women to build strength inside and outside the gym!  Buckeye BarBELLES includes weekly lectures and small group exercise instruction. Weekly lectures discussing training topics such as goal-setting, personal accountability, and proper exercise program design. Participants will also learn various fundamental lifts with a Certified Personal Trainer including the basics of the squat, bench, and deadlift as well as additional exercises. Exercise instruction will be completed in a small group setting and in-person at the RPAC.

Buckeye BarBELLES includes two 1-hour sessions per week. One weekly lecture and one small group exercise instruction. Lectures will be in-person at the RPAC Monday's from 6 -7 p.m.  Small Group options are listed below and will also be in-person at the RPAC.

Small Group Session days and times (Feb 12-Apr 12):

  • Tuesday’s 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday’s 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
  • Wednesday’s 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
  • Thursday’s 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
  • Thursday’s 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
  • Friday’s 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Registration is open to Student Members.  This course is $25 per person, registration will open here on January 8, at Noon.

Bodybuilding Foundations – Lift and Learn

This program is a comprehensive 4-week muscle-building program designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical experience required to learn the basic fundamentals and techniques of bodybuilding style training. This program is ideal for anyone looking to understand how to sculpt their physique, gain muscle mass, and develop a solid foundation in the art of bodybuilding. It offers a unique blend of education, hands-on training, and a supportive group environment to help participants achieve their fitness goals.  This course will be completed in a small group setting, led by our Certified Personal Trainers, and will be catered to all fitness levels.

There are multiple offerings with different start dates. Session 1 runs February 12- March 8. Session 2 runs March 18- April 12. All offerings/sessions are the same course and meet once a week.  

Session 1 (Feb 12 – Mar 8)

  • Monday’s 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
  • Wednesday’s 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
  • Thursday’s 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.
  • Friday’s 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Session 2 (Mar 18 – Apr 12)

  • Monday’s 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
  • Tuesday’s 5:15 – 6:15 p.m.
  • Wednesday’s 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
  • Friday’s 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
