All forms for Camp Recky and Esports Camp were due by Friday, May 1, 2026. Any paperwork received after May 8 will incur a $15 late fee.

Camper Health Information Form
The Camper Health Information Form must be completed for all campers.

Accommodation Request Form
If your camper needs an accommodation at camp due to an illness, disability, diagnosis or other need, please complete this form. Once we receive your form, we will be in touch with you to discuss the accommodation. At Camp Recky, we strive to make sure all campers have the best experience possible, and we are here to help in any way we can.

Medication Form
If your child will need to take medication at camp or has an EpiPen, inhaler or diabetes pump, please fill out the PDF medication administration form and send it to camprecky@osu.edu. We are not allowed to administer any medication or provide emergency medications at camp unless this form is completed. If your child is not taking any medications or does not have any emergency medications, you do not need to complete this form.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up

Drop-Off and Pick-Up

  • Curbside drop-off runs 8 - 9 a.m..
    • Camp Recky: Follow the camp signs to the Annie and John Glenn turnaround (east side of Ohio Stadium).
    • Esports Camp: South parking lot of Lincoln Tower off John Herrick Drive and Cannon Drive. Please approach from the south via Herrick Drive to avoid traffic congestion.
  • Please stay in your car. Camp staff will come to your car to sign in your child and escort them to camp.
  • Walk-ups are allowed and encouraged to help with traffic flow.
  • Campers will only be released to people listed as authorized for pick-up.
    • If you did not list someone on your paperwork, you must contact the Camp Recky office before 3 p.m. to add them as an authorized pick-up. Staff will call and need to speak with a parent/guardian before releasing a child to anyone not on the list, which may delay pick-up.

Late Drop-Off

  • Camp Recky: If you drop off after 9 a.m., please park in the Annie and John Glenn turnaround and bring your camper to the Camp Recky office in the RPAC. We are located up the ramp behind Juice in the lobby of the RPAC. There will not be staff at the turnaround after 9 a.m.
  • Esports Camp: If you drop off after 9 a.m., please park in the Lincoln Tower parking lot and bring the camper to the Esports Arena, located on the second floor of Lincoln Tower in Room 210 near the entrance facing the Band Observation Tower and Lincoln Tower turf fields.

Late Pick-Up
Any campers who are at camp after 5 p.m. will be brought to the Camp Recky office (Camp Recky) or the Esports Arena (Esports Camp), and a late fee will be charged. Parents will need to enter the building to sign out their camper. If there is an emergency (i.e., a breakdown) and you know you will be a few minutes late, please call the office at 614-688-8787. Please review our late pick-up policy.

Late Pick-Up Policy
Parents who pick up between 5 - 5:15 p.m. will be charged a $15 fee. Parents who pick up later than 5:15 p.m. will be charged an additional $1 for every minute after. Charges will be added to the family's account and must be paid before the camper(s) will be allowed to return to camp. Unpaid balances will result in the camper(s) being withdrawn from camp with no refund.

Parking

Visit the CampusParc website for parking information. If you must park your car near any of our camps, there are parking lots for “A,” “B” and “C” pass holders. For those without an Ohio State parking permit, there are parking meters, Pay-n-display machines and/or pay garages near all camp locations. Staff members can direct you to these areas.

Camp Recky and Recreational Sports are not able to negotiate parking pricing, nor does the department receive any revenue from parking fees. Prices are determined and retained by CampusParc, a third-party provider. Parking arrangements are subject to change based on university activities.
Sick Camper/Absences

If your camper is sick or will not be coming to camp on a given day, please email camprecky@osu.edu
or call 614-688-8787 to let us know. Per our cancellation/refund policy, any cancellations after April 29, 2026, will not be refunded.

Camper Favorites Week (NEW - activities based on camper preference)

Camp Recky Sport Majors
Each week of camp, your camper will have the opportunity to participate in two sports. These sport activities take place between 9:30 - 11 a.m. each morning. The goal of our sport majors is to introduce your child to a variety of sports. Whether this is your child’s first time trying a sport or they have prior experience, your camper will have the opportunity to learn basic skills through various drills and games. Our focus is on learning the basics while emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork and participation. While we ask all campers to try each activity first, alternative activities will be provided for those who are not interested in a particular sport major.

Camp Recky Afternoon Minors
Campers will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sport and recreational activities during the afternoons. Activities may include Gaga, field games, nine square, gym games, scavenger hunts, on-campus field trips, swimming, kitchen time and themed arts and crafts.

Kitchen Time
Camp Recky offers kitchen time for campers, with a different theme geared toward a specific age group. This program is a modified version of what was previously known as Kids in the Kitchen. Kitchen time is part of the afternoon rotation, allowing all campers the opportunity to participate at no additional cost. Each age group will have designated weeks for participation in basic kitchen activities. Campers who are not interested in kitchen time will have alternative sport and recreational activities available.

  • Buckeye Breakfast - The most important meal of the day. Learn how to cook foods that will start your day off right.
  • Dreamy Desserts - Make your favorite baked desserts while learning about kitchen safety.
  • Cooking ABCs - Learn kitchen basics by preparing simple, age-appropriate food items.
