Guest Passes
Members and students paying the dedicated fee may sponsor a guest to experience Rec Sports offerings. To self-sponsor a guest pass, you must be affiliated with the university as an active student, faculty or staff member, retiree or alum. Individuals without a university affiliation must be sponsored by an active Rec Sports member. Members may sponsor up to two guests per day. All guests must present valid identification and purchase a pass to access facilities.

How to Purchase
Guest passes can be purchased at any indoor recreational facility. The department accepts BuckID, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
Guests under age 18 must have a parent or guardian present to sign the activity waiver and purchase a guest pass. Children ages 4 and under are free, and children ages 5-13 are $5 per day. Learn more about minors in Recreational Sports facilities.

Guest Pass Policies
- All non-university affiliates must purchase a guest pass to access Rec Sports facilities.
- Guests must be sponsored by a current Rec Sports member. Sponsors cannot be solicited, and both the guest and sponsor must provide valid photo identification on-site at the time of purchase.
- Each Rec Sports member may sponsor up to two guests per day.
- Guests must enter and exit the facilities with their sponsoring member.
- Guests agree to all Rec Sports policies by signing the Facility Access Waiver. The sponsoring member shares responsibility for the guest's behavior.
- Guests must present proper identification to obtain access to facilities, which includes:
- University ID: BuckID, Rec Sports Membership Card, Mobile ID
- Government-issued ID: driver's license, military ID, passport
- Guests may check out equipment, including day-use locks.
- Guest pass holders may participate in fitness classes at no additional charge. Guests do not need to register in advance and may participate based on availability.
- In accordance with the minor policy at The Ohio State University, any member or participant under age 18 participating in activities within a Recreational Sports facility must have a parent or guardian present at all times.
- Patrons must be 14 years or older to use fitness or cardio equipment and attend group fitness classes.

- All guest passes are nontransferable and expire at facility closing on the day of purchase.
- Guest passes allow entry into any facility as many times as desired during the day of purchase.
- No refunds are provided for guest passes.
- Failure to comply with Guest Pass Policies may result in revocation of guest and member privileges, including restricted access or disciplinary action.
