Outdoor Adventure Center

Outdoor recreation provides fun, challenging and affordable wilderness-based experiences. Offerings include workshops, backcountry trips, climbing and bouldering walls and a bike maintenance shop. All required skills can be learned, but getting belay certified is a great way to stand out as a candidate.

  • Primary Location: The Outdoor Adventure Center (OAC) is located within the ARC
  • Typical Available Hours: Range of facility hours from mid-morning to evening and weekend hours

Outdoor Recreation Assistant - Provide technical support to members utilizing the climbing wall and provide risk management as it relates to indoor rock climbing; additional responsibilities include point of sale and member services at the OAC front desk, equipment upkeep and repair related to equipment rental program and/or cleaning of the high bay portions of the climbing wall.
