Administrative Operations

In order to manage the multitude of facilities and programs that Rec Sports offers many people work behind the scenes. Students are an important asset in this function, processing basic accounting functions for the business office.

  • Primary Location: RPAC Administrative Suite
  • Typical Available Hours: Weekday and during business hours, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Required Certifications: None

Student Fiscal Officer – assists with weekly invoice certification, refunds and basic administrative functions of the Rec Sports business office; uniform audits, cash management and monthly report distribution.

Rec Sports Ambassador – As representatives of the Department of Recreational Sports, ambassadors foster relationships with students, staff and faculty to increase awareness, engagement and participation in Rec Sports programs, facilities and events. This role blends student engagement, event support and creative content development, including assisting with outreach initiatives, capturing photo and video content and contributing to short-form digital storytelling that highlights the energy and inclusivity of Rec Sports. Ambassadors also support content organization, basic editing and asset management while representing the department with professionalism and strong customer service.
