Ready to take your fitness to the next level? Our Instructional Programs offer progressive, skill-based sessions that help you build confidence, improve technique and achieve your fitness goals in a motivating small-group setting.

Buckeye Barbells

Focus on the fundamentals of strength training to build strength and confidence inside and outside the gym.

Program Details:

This eight-week program focused on the fundamentals of strength training to help participants build strength and confidence inside and outside the gym. The program includes four in-person lectures covering topics such as goal-setting, personal accountability and proper exercise program design, along with hands-on instruction in the squat, bench press and deadlift. Participants will also practice additional exercises during small-group training sessions led by certified personal trainers. All lectures and small-group instruction take place in person at the RPAC.

Buckeye Barbells includes four lectures and eight weekly small-group instructional sessions. Lectures will be held Mondays from 6 - 7 p.m., February 16 - March 9. Weekly small-group session days and times are listed at registration.

This course costs $15 per person and is open to student members only.
