Student Life Recreational Sports student staff are foundational to the department’s mission, operations and organizational culture. Working in an office setting within the administrative suite of the RPAC, these jobs assist with a variety of critical department functions and assist professional staff members.
Aquatic employees assist in managing all facets of aquatic facilities, safety and event operations through a variety of pool and facility positions.
The Buckeye Bike Hub serves to improve the bicycle culture on campus by encouraging bicycle use, educating on safe practices and providing training, maintenance and service around bikes.
Serve the larger Ohio State community by working with kids through our childcare and camp programs or representing the department across campus as a Rec Sports Ambassador.
Student employees are at the core of keeping our five facilities and three parks operating. These positions tackle operations, customer service and event management across our indoor and outdoor facilities.
Fitness Programs and Services provide a variety of ways for members to live their life in motion. Student employees work as Group Fitness Instructors, Room Monitors and Personal Trainers.
Coordinating all intramural sports and sport clubs at Ohio State, sport officials and scorekeepers are always needed to manage the sport offerings from Rec Sports.
Find adventure through employment at the Outdoor Adventure Center. Assisting with the climbing wall, workshops, adventure trips, and bike maintenance, OAC employees are adventuresome.
